If you have you taken a beginning metalsmithing class, and are ready for more, check out our Intermediate Metals class. In the Intermediate class, we will expand on the skills learned in the Beginner’s class, and explore additional ways to set gemstones. We will focus on tension setting and flush setting.

We will be working with copper and silver, and using a butane torch to complete in-class projects.

This class is suitable for students (15 years and older) who have taken a Beginning Metals Class or Workshop from El Dorado Casting Lab, and are comfortable with soldering, sawing, and using the flex shaft. Classes are ten sessions, three hours each session.
