Curious about soldering and metalsmithing, but don’t know where to start? Or are you interested in creating silver jewelry for yourself or others? Perhaps your metalsmithing skills are a little rusty and you need a refresher course? Then step right up, this class is for you!

In this intensive 10-week class, we will explore the fundamentals of metalsmithing. Through three different projects, students will learn the necessary skills to fabricate a variety of unique pendants, rings, bracelets, or earrings. Some techniques include: sawing, filing, drilling, forming, metal stamping, stone setting, and soldering. This introductory course is a seasonal favorite.

We will be working with copper and silver, and using a butane torch to complete in-class projects.

This class is suitable for beginners (15 years and older) and will be ten sessions, three hours each

session.
