Using your own botanical inspiration, you will build upon your fabrication skills throughout this course. The intermediate track will last four weeks and is intended for students with some experience metal-smithing. Using your own choice of flora, this course will teach you more advanced forming, soldering, and piecework techniques. We will discuss the design process in full so you can bring your visions to life.
Students should have experience with torch soldering and must be able to saw sterling silver, if you would like to learn these skills, look into our Botanical Fabrication: Monstera class to learn the core skills you need for creating botanical sculptures.
